The French department store has always been renown by it´s stunning window displays: Alice in Wonderland, Style & Savoir-Faire by Alexander McQueen, Sport and Elegance by Stella McCartney and of course last Christmas´ Noël rêves d’évasion, by Chanel.
However this years fantastic window display owes it to the house of Dior, one of the most beautiful emblematic Maison of Parisian fashion, where “Inspirations parisiennes” will be the main theme during Christmas time.
Divided in four variations with a mixture between extreme elegance and a poetic mood, each of the eleven windows display an emblematic location in the capital (Avenue Montaigne, Opera, Winter Garden,…) evoking a dream-like voyage in the heart of a snow-covered Paris where everything is possible.
Also, there are four animated window displays, especially created by the House of Dior Couture ateliers. They are so worth watching as they have small recreations of Haute Couture iconic designs of the fashion house founded by Christian Dior (from the Bar suit to the latest collection by Raf Simons).
Definitively, this reinterpretation of Dior´s world, in which Haute Couture, perfumes and watchmaking, blend with the Christmas spirit in the heart of The City of Light, is the best combination to make everyone´s dream come true…
